Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe was spectacular. The views were absolutely breath-taking. We planned to just have a play on the sand and a dip in the water but we were lucky enough to be able to do some water sports to. Some people overheard the Aussie accent as I was conversing with my friend Lou, and before we knew it, we were invited to go out on the water with our new found friends Bill, Cyrus and a few more. Tubing was amazing, but holding on that tight definitely gave me jelly arms and a shaky hand for a good few hours after! I was determined not to get dumped in the water... and I didn't. Such a relief. We all got pretty sunburnt but it was totally worth it! Great view, great day, great company. We left on such a high. Much Love - D -

Hiatus don't hate us

I have been a little bit quiet. Apologies for the hiatus. But don't worry my silence doesn't mean anything I am still just as much in love with America as my previous post! My love stems not just from the fact that Solestruck can ship free to my US address but more so it is based on the American people that are so beautiful and the endless list of things you can do here! Since my first exploration of San Francisco, I have been back again, I am just obsessed. There is something about the climate, the shopping and the pastel painted lady houses that has stolen my heart and it won't give it back! It's a trusty keeper of my heart though, at least I know it doesn't possess the capabilities to break it. Much love - D -

THE MISSION

The mission is best described as the home to murals, free expression, mexican roots, vintage thrift wear, upcoming artists and coffee drinkers. It was love at first sight. I spent hours getting lost in the Mission stumbling across many great haunts. My poor bank account took a beating.... I just couldn't resist this amazing white leather dress that I have decided to wear as a jacket. If given the opportunity I would be back there in a split second! Much Love - D -
