When something devastating happens it is so easy to let it defeat us, to wallow in our own self pity. By all means react, be emotive, ball, cry, yell, give devil eyes... whatever is appropriate... I know I sure do. In saying that it is so important to make self pity short lived. Instead, go back to what you know you are good at, where your gifts lie, get swept away by your hopes and dreams because no one has a right to tell you they aren't possible. A HANDSOME PROJECT

Whipped cream flying, the best swimwear in town, greesy sloppy pizza tantalising our taste buds and big nurf guns locking and loading, oh it was a playful affair! We Are Handsome's The Romantic Collection was used to style the photo's for A Handsome Project. We wanted to capture a girl, running amok in a big french house, in the middle of the night, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Using vintage furs, sequins and colourful leather jackets that began as creative experiments, we wanted to portray an edgy, more hardcore juxtaposition against the beautiful timeless backdrop. The shots turned our perfect, a little crude, a little out-there, something that will be sure to get a reaction out of people. The Brilliant photography was done by Daniel Le Breton if you have a moment be sure to check our the rest of his talented works. As for the Model, Lola Van Vorst is damn fine. Pasteltastic

Is it just me or does the recent race to the hairdresser's to go pastel crazy resemble something not to dissimilar to a troll dolls hair do? Who would have thought that this iconic 90's childhood novelty toy that I spent hours playing with was strutting a hairstyle I would just die for many years later! Just waiting for my courage.... but soon I would love to add a colour out of the rainbow to my already balayaged hair!
